ACTIVITY PARKS FOR BALL SPORTS

The Oasis is an activity park for ball sports in a park environment. This means that the concept appeals to this group of young people in a way that is currently lacking.
Traditional playgrounds attract children up to the age of 10 and the popular outdoor gyms are aimed at older youth and adults over the age of 17.

The areas are open and several people and groups can use parts of the area at the same time and for many different types of ball sports. We therefore call the oasis the “The ball sports equivalent of skate parks” as you can both “hang out” and move at the same time across generations.

A well-designed multi-arena becomes a local gathering place that
encourages physical activity, but the multi-arenas that exist today are often too uniform. Rarely have they explored the possibility of exploiting the framework as the TRiQ modules do.

The TRiQ multi-arena has the potential to become a form of “street football” where the framework becomes an active part of the sport and creates opportunities for a whole new creative game. A well-designed multi-arena becomes a local gathering place that encourages physical activity.

Playing wall has been a favorite game for many generations of children and young people, we renew this classic ball game plus we create the conditions for TRiQ arena to become a gathering place in the same way as a skate park does. Where it is also more appealing to play both on your own and with friends than what is currently offered with other equipment.

Football today requires several people to come together and play a match, but many children lack playmates and TRiQ makes it more fun to play and train on your own or in a small group.

TRiQ is the ball sports equivalent of skate parks and outdoor gyms and could be just as revolutionary for the way we play with balls in our playgrounds.

TRiQ can be placed in schoolyards and playgrounds to complement traditional play equipment. We have developed four different combinations that will enhance any school playground, renewing the classic playground and creating the conditions for intuitive play.

Better handover between teams

Creates an area that enables better handover between teams and conditions for spontaneous sports even when the football pitch is occupied.

Today, most facilities are empty outside training or match time. The TRiQ concept creates high quality opportunities for playful and serious self-training that appeals to young people and adults interested in ball. This also creates new opportunities to use the TRiQ modules during training sessions. The modules make it much more fun to go to the football facilities by yourself or in small groups!

Create conditions for spontaneous sports even when the football pitch is occupied and enable better handover between the teams that will use the pitches during training and matches. This is a recurring problem that will now be much easier if we create off-site activity areas. During autumn, winter and spring, the vast majority of pitches are always occupied in the evening, making spontaneous sport impossible for those outside organized sport. If we create spaces outside our pitches, we create completely new conditions for spontaneous sport for these young people.
